Blog Entry - 17/12/08

Hello everybody! Long time no speak!
With my first semester of university life coming to a close, my final discovery of a copy of a new copy of Dreamweaver and the eventual repair of my internet, I'm back and ready to go!
And what a time to return! I'm happy to see that in my absence the group has gone on much the same as ever (even Eggy has failed to mature... :-P) and with the efforts of our regulars, various exciting projects are finally bearing fruit!
It seems that the much talked about literary den magazine will be in full swing by the New Year, a prospect that excites me greatly! Hopefully the wide distribution of our free .pdf magazine will not only attract new members, but enrich the experience of our current community!
Perhaps a little background info is required to explain my vanishing act over the last few months. In September, I started at the University of Edinburgh,(Scotland, for all you foreign folks!) studying Politics, Spanish and Italian. Simultaneously, I started working for Watches of Switzerland, Princes St, Edinburgh (www.watches-of-switzerland.co.uk) which as you can imagine, really added quite a workload! I love my job, although I have to admit, learning about the intricacies of different watches is much like taking another degree!
Either way, these are poor excuses for my absence, although not having internet for much of my time here so far didn’t help either!
But never mind, I’m back and excited to stride on with the expansion of Literary Den.
Hope you’re all well...
...oh... and...
Merry Christmas!!!
Christopher.
